The lid shows this company's most famous image in fine detail with no loss of design. The lid lifts to reveal an excellent mirror which gives a perfect reflection. The powder well & mirror bezel have acquired a deep golden patina. All clasps & hinges work perfectly. The base is decorated with a banded circular cartouche. The manufacturers included a tiny hole in the base
