The Battle of the River Plate original Belgian film poster Edge wear on top leftThis is the original 1956 British film poster for the highly respected Michael Powell & Emeric Pressburger Second World War true life story of the "Graf Spee" Battleship. Printing was by W. E. Berry Ltd. of Bradford. Peter Finch is painted as Captain Langsdorff the German Captain of the pocket battleship the Graf Spee together with a painting of the ship itself.
