They are NOT cracks. But if super picky, perhaps look elsewhere SILVER lettering. As used, I believe, on AJS twins and singles of the 50s and 60s until they died. Overall diameter 2 7 16", mount hole distance, center to center, about 1 11 16". (Note that there may be some casting release residue on face of the badges upon unwrapping, sorry.
