Equipment; Businesses; Disasters (About 12 miles up Klondike)This photo shows a small dredge floating in a pond with various buildings on the hillsides above the valley. Small log cabins and a wall tent are seen. One building has two large smoke stacks coming out of it. This is the steam plant for ground thawing. The hillsides have no trees on them.
