This was a typical setup for rim locks where the flared doorknob would go against the lock

The knob is in excellent condition

but the set screw may be covered

This type of latch was widely sold in the late 1870's to early 1900's by many of the major companies. The set consists of a decorative handle with thumb latch, strap, latch bar, staple, privacy lock, jamb strike (not pictured) and 6 screws. The jamb strike might not be original but the latch bar fits into it and it is the correct shape. The thumb latch has a hole in the middle
