Cordón del Plata, Mendoza Mountains in front of the GruppoPart of my new collection of "Argentina Land of Contrasts", this painting depicts all what Mendoza has to offer. It is after all the land of wine and the sun! This mountain chain is called the "Cordn del Plata" (or Silver massif) and you can see the characteristic vineyards, the alamos trees, the mountains and the blue skies. Mendoza is pretty dry, with the sun shining a lot during the year. They have a sophisticated watering system to irrigate the
