Blue sky Surrealistic I aimed to capture aThe piece is a collage composed of a photograph and abstract elements. Most prominent is a bright blue summer sky, which forms the backdrop for the events in the image: bubbling and radiance. A pigment print and various fragments printed on thin Japanese papers have been attached to a panel in layers using beeswax. The work is lightweight and ready to hang; it does not require framing. The beeswax protects the surface of the image.
