February Roses Expressive The combining of elements andThis painting, with a fresh and bright mood, was painted in February in the Helsinki Winter Garden. Although it was freezing outside, Christmas roses were blooming in the greenhouse. The painting was created using the tempera technique on hand primed linen canvas.
